E-mail Print PDF

Old Town Kemptville is rolling out the welcome mat for visitors of the 2013 Dandelion Festival. Event Manager Brent Kelaher says all of the events are free this year, but they are taking donations so they can keep the festival free next year. Kelaher spoke to us today about one of the new attractions, The Grenville Militia, which will be on site with a reenactment of the War of 1812:

You will find extra parking in the school parking lots on Concession Road, then follow the path to Riverside Park. Kemptville's annual celebration of arts and culture runs all day Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers are still needed for some events. A complete list of events is available in today's edition of the North Grenville Times. More info is available at www.thedandelionfestival.ca.
