Volunteers from the Response Rodeo "Showdown in K-town" are selling tickets to their charity benefit today through Friday at Scotiabank in Kemptville. The Saturday, June 9 event at the North Grenville Municipal Centre features mechanical bull riding, electronic calf roping, tricycle barrel racing and other Western theme events, including a stunt-gun shootout for a chance to win $1000. Lonestar will cater the event, which also features live music by Eddie and the Stingrays and D.W. James. Prizes include a trip to the Calgary Stampede.
