According to a new Stats Canada report, residents of Leeds Grenville, on average, are older than most! The 2011 census shows the average resident age in all municipalities of the United Counties to be well above the provincial average. In Leeds and Grenville in 2011, almost 20% of the population was age 65 and overĀ - that's higher than both the provincial and national average.
The average age of Ontario residents in 2011 was 40.4. The average age in North Grenville was 42.8 years old.
