The 2011 census shows the average resident age in all municipalities of the United Counties to be well above the provincial average. In Leeds and Grenville in 2011, almost 20% of the population was age 65 and over - that's higher than both the provincial and national average.
The average age of Ontario residents in 2011 was 40.4. The average age in North Grenville was 42.8 years old.
